Paper Mache' Project

Disclaimer: My husband is extremely intelligent. I remember coming home from school one afternoon to find my husband laying on our kitchen floor wearing nothing but a pair of underwear. Beside him was a pot full of a gluey mixture and a stack of newspapers. When I asked him what in the world he was doing he explained that he was fulfilling a class assignment. The plan was to PAPER MACHE" HIS ENTIRE BODY (that's right), allow the glue to dry for several hours, and then carefully remove the paper from his body all in one piece to reveal a life size sculpture of himself. Trev had already managed to cover his entire left leg with the pasty newspaper. Both his hands were covered in goop and he looked extrememly uncomfortable yet determined to continue. (Side note: Trev and I had only been married for a month or two when this occured and I was determined to play the role of a supportive, understanding wife) So, I did my best to hold in the outburst of laughter and as lovingly as possibly explained to my husband how absurd the idea was and convinced him to choose another project. With some reluctancy he abondoned the paper mache' idea and admitted that his left leg was already beginning to cramp up from holding it in place for over an hour. We look back on this memory now and laugh. And if ever Trev has an assignment in school that allows some creativity on his part, I make sure he runs his ideas by me before attempting another "paper mache' project".

Loved it, a classic! My question is, did anyone in the class complete this assignment. So funny.
