This morning we drove out to Gold Canyon and hiked up the Hieroglyphics Trail.
Besides the hike being too challenging for a three year old (whose low platelets cause a lack of energy and strength, who insisted on being carried the majority of the way ) a two year old (who exerted all his energy in the first 20 minutes and who also insisted on being carried the majority of the way) and a one year old (who needed to be carried the entire way).
Besides the Arizona summer heat, shadeless cacti, and loose rock trail.
Besides my arms shaking uncontrollably from lugging around little ones.
Besides all this...
We enjoyed our Memorial Day Morning Hike.

All complaining aside, we had fun, especially being with family on this Holiday.
Thank you Nielsen clan for helping and chasing and holding our boys without any complaints.

Looks like a fun time. I am glad that you guys are able to get out and enjoy yourselves after all the drama with cute Jonny. I hope he is doing better!! Love the picture of Dean..and all the new cute ones you have on the side of your blog. Your boys are super de duper cute! ;)
